No, absolutely not. Under European Union law (European Commission Competition Directive 93/13/EEC) and Fair Trading regulations, printer manufacturers cannot invalidate your printer’s warranty simply because you choose compatible or remanufactured cartridges.

Furthermore, Cartridge World provides its own Printer Warranty Protection: in the extremely rare event that one of our cartridges causes damage to your printer, we will repair or replace your printer at zero cost to you.

Cartridge World replacement cartridges are manufactured in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities and tested according to international ISO/IEC 19752 (monochrome) and ISO/IEC 24711/24712 (color) yield standards.

Our inks and toners are custom-formulated to match your specific printer’s viscosity and thermal print curves, producing sharp document text, vivid true-to-life photos, and identical (often higher) page yields compared to original brand cartridges — at up to 70% lower cost.

Major printer manufacturers regularly push silent Wi-Fi firmware updates to printers. These updates rarely introduce useful features; instead, their primary intent is often to lock out third-party smart chips so you are forced to buy expensive original ink.

We strongly recommend disabling "Automatic Firmware Updates" in your printer’s control panel settings or printer software. This simple step ensures your replacement cartridges continue functioning without disruption. If a firmware update ever interferes with a cartridge, simply visit any Cartridge World store in Cyprus for a free chip update or cartridge exchange.

Every Cartridge World branded cartridge comes with our comprehensive 100% Money-Back or No-Quibble Replacement Guarantee.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your print output or performance, bring the cartridge back to any of our physical stores in Limassol, Larnaca, or Paphos, or contact our customer support. We will promptly swap it or provide a full refund — no questions asked.

Yes! Over 350 million empty printer cartridges are thrown into global landfills every year, where heavy industrial plastic takes over 1,000 years to decompose. Cartridge World Cyprus has saved 750,000 ink and toners from Landfill and we return these for re-use. Our own brand ink and toner is certified Carbon Neutral. Choosing Cartridge World brand saves valuable raw oil resources, cuts greenhouse gas emissions, and keeps plastic waste off our island.

You can also drop off your empty ink and toner cartridges at any Cartridge World store in Cyprus to take advantage of our free, certified recycling programme.
