Technical Specification
The Revopoint Trackit Standard Edition represents a significant shift in industrial scanning by eliminating the need for physical adhesive markers. It uses a high-performance dual-camera optical tracking station that monitors the scanner’s position in real-time. This system delivers industrial-grade single-frame accuracy of up to 0.02 mm and a volumetric accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.04 mm × L (m). By removing the time-consuming preparation of sticking and peeling markers, the Trackit allows engineers and designers to begin scanning complex objects, from small engine parts to full-sized vehicles, in a fraction of the usual time.
The scanner features a versatile hybrid light system designed to handle the most challenging surfaces. The 30-line Blue Cross Laser mode is engineered for high-efficiency capture of large surface areas, including dark or highly reflective materials, at a speed of up to 1.5 million points per second. For intricate geometries, the Single Blue Laser Line mode offers ultra-fine detail capture, making it capable of digitizing deep holes, narrow crevices, and complex gear teeth that standard structured light scanners often miss. This dual-mode flexibility ensures the Trackit remains effective across a massive recommended part size range of 0.01 m to 6 m.
To maintain professional standards without the complexity, the Standard Edition includes a dual-axis motorized gimbal system for fully automated calibration of both the scanner and the tracker. This automated process minimizes human error and ensures the system is ready for high-precision work in about 25 minutes. The scanner itself is constructed with a one-piece carbon fiber frame, providing exceptional structural rigidity to prevent accuracy drift caused by thermal expansion or physical deformation. The system is managed via the Revo Trackit software, which provides real-time point cloud monitoring and exports data in all major formats including STL, OBJ, PLY, and STEP.
