The Revopoint POP 3 Plus is the advanced evolution of the popular POP series, specifically engineered to bridge the gap between hobbyist tools and professional metrology. The standout feature of the "Plus" model is its new Optical Zoom Projector, which offers 1.5x and 2x magnification. This allows the scanner to focus its structured light more intensely on specific areas, delivering a 20% increase in accuracy and precision compared to its predecessor—reaching a single-frame accuracy of 0.08 mm.
Designed for smooth, frustration-free scanning, the POP 3 Plus features a built-in 9-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit). This hardware acts as an internal stabilizer, automatically detecting and skipping "faulty" frames caused by shaky hands or rapid movement, ensuring a seamless point cloud fusion. Additionally, the new Global Marker Tracking mode significantly improves the scanner's ability to track physical markers on large or featureless objects, reducing cumulative errors and increasing the volumetric accuracy of the final 3D mesh.
The scanner features an upgraded HD RGB camera with a larger aperture and a dual White LED flash system. This combination eliminates shadows and captures lifelike textures, making it ideal for creating digital twins, animation assets, or colorful 3D prints. The Standard Edition provides a complete out-of-the-box experience, including the 190g scanner, a Mini Turntable for automated desktop work, a tripod, and a high-precision lithographic calibration board.
