It retains the signature standalone architecture—featuring an 8-core 2.4GHz processor and a 6-inch 2K AMOLED touchscreen—but introduces hardware-level enhancements that push its single-frame accuracy to 0.04 mm and precision to 0.02 mm. This model is specifically engineered to bridge the gap between portable convenience and the rigorous accuracy requirements of aerospace, automotive, and heavy machinery industries.
The defining feature of the "Plus" edition is the inclusion of the Photogrammetric Metrology Kit. This hardware-software synergy allows the scanner to capture large objects (up to 4 meters) with a remarkable volumetric accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.05 mm x L (m). By using specialized scale bars and coded targets included in the kit, the MIRACO Plus can calculate a global coordinate system that maintains extreme dimensional consistency across large surface areas, effectively solving the "tracking drift" common in smaller handheld scanners during big projects.
