The Revopoint MIRACO Plus is the high-performance successor to the Miraco series, designed for industrial professionals who need metrology-grade precision in an all-in-one handheld device. It retains the signature standalone architecture—featuring an 8-core 2.4GHz processor and a 6-inch 2K AMOLED touchscreen—but introduces hardware-level enhancements that push its single-frame accuracy to 0.04 mm and precision to 0.02 mm. This model is specifically engineered to bridge the gap between portable convenience and the rigorous accuracy requirements of aerospace, automotive, and heavy machinery industries.
The defining feature of the "Plus" edition is the inclusion of the Photogrammetric Metrology Kit. This hardware-software synergy allows the scanner to capture large objects (up to 4 meters) with a remarkable volumetric accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.05 mm x L (m). By using specialized scale bars and coded targets included in the kit, the MIRACO Plus can calculate a global coordinate system that maintains extreme dimensional consistency across large surface areas, effectively solving the "tracking drift" common in smaller handheld scanners during big projects.
The MIRACO Plus features a redesigned quad-depth camera system that now includes 1.5x and 2x infrared optical zoom. This allows users to physically stay at a safe distance from an object while virtually "zooming in" to capture fine surface details and sharp edges with 20% more clarity than the standard MIRACO. This is paired with a 48MP RGB camera for 8K photorealistic textures and a massive 32GB of RAM, which supports scanning and processing up to 10,000 frames (non-color) or 8,000 frames (color) without ever needing to connect to a computer.
