The Revopoint MetroX Pro Advanced Edition is the most powerful configuration in the MetroX lineup, specifically engineered for high-throughput industrial metrology. It features a massive upgrade to the laser array, utilizing 30 blue laser cross lines and 15 parallel blue laser lines. This increased density allows for a professional accuracy of 0.02 mm and a precision of 0.01 mm, while pushing scanning speeds up to 2,000,000 points per second in laser mode. It is designed to capture the most challenging surfaces, including high-gloss chrome and deep black industrial parts, with 20% more accuracy than the standard MetroX.
The Advanced Edition differentiates itself by including a professional Marker Block Kit, a vital accessory for scanning featureless or repetitive geometries. This kit consists of a series of reusable magnetic shapes, including 10 ball markers, 10 dome markers, 4 pyramid markers, and 4 bar markers. By placing these blocks around or on a smooth workpiece, you create a "marker-rich" environment that allows the scanner to maintain stable tracking without needing to stick hundreds of adhesive dots directly onto the object. This setup significantly improves volumetric accuracy and saves hours of preparation time in professional workflows.
The MetroX Pro operates via a four-mode hybrid system: the 30-line Cross Laser for rapid surface capture, 15-line Parallel Lasers for ultra-fine edges, and a 62-line Full-Field Structured Light mode that captures up to 7 million points per second for larger objects. The bundle also features a Dual-axis Turntable for automated 360° capture and an HD RGB camera for high-fidelity color mapping. Due to the high data volume, this scanner requires a robust workstation, recommending at least an NVIDIA RTX 4060 GPU and 64GB of RAM to run the Revo Metro software at its full 60 FPS capability.
