Technical Specification
The Revopoint MetroX Advanced Edition is an industrial-grade hybrid 3D scanner designed for small to medium-sized objects, achieving a professional accuracy of 0.03 mm and precision of up to 0.01 mm. It features a powerful light system that combines 14 blue laser cross lines, 7 parallel blue laser lines, and 62-line full-field structured light. This hybrid architecture allows for rapid, spray-free capture of traditionally difficult surfaces, such as shiny metallic parts and deep black materials, while maintaining metrology-grade detail for reverse engineering and quality control.
The Advanced Edition differentiates itself from the Standard version by including an extensive Marker Block Kit. This kit is designed to significantly speed up the scanning of featureless or uniform objects by creating a "marker-rich" environment without sticking adhesive dots directly onto the part. It features a variety of reusable magnetic targets, including 10 ball markers, 10 dome markers, 4 pyramid markers, and 4 bar markers. These shapes allow the scanner to maintain stable tracking across smooth surfaces, vastly reducing cumulative errors in volumetric accuracy.
The MetroX Advanced Edition offers four professional modes to suit various industrial scenarios. The Cross Lines and Parallel Lines modes utilize the blue lasers for high-detail geometry, while the Full-Field Structured Light mode captures up to 7 million points per second for fast data acquisition. For smaller parts, the included Dual-axis Turntable enables a fully automated, one-click 360° scan. The system is powered by the Revo Metro software, which supports Global Marker Tracking and requires a high-performance PC with an NVIDIA RTX 30/40 series GPU to handle real-time processing at up to 60 FPS.
