The Revopoint Metro Y Standard Edition is a professional-grade, industrial-level blue laser 3D scanner designed specifically for capturing small to medium-sized objects with extreme precision. Built to bridge the gap between expensive metrology arms and consumer handhelds, the Metro Y delivers a single-frame precision of up to 0.01 mm and a volumetric accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.04 mm × L (m). It is an ideal solution for reverse engineering, quality control inspection, and high-fidelity 3D printing of mechanical parts ranging from 10 mm to 1000 mm in size.
The Metro Y Standard distinguishes itself with a versatile, triple-laser system that ensures reliable data acquisition on difficult surfaces. The 30 Blue Cross Laser Lines mode allows for rapid capture of large, flat, or featureless areas, even on dark or shiny surfaces without the need for scanning spray. For intricate details and sharp edges, the 15 Parallel Blue Laser Lines mode provides ultra-fine resolution. Finally, the Single Blue Laser Line mode is specifically engineered for capturing data from deep holes, crevices, and complex grid structures that are typically out of reach for standard structured light scanners.
A major upgrade in the Metro Y series is the integration of Wi-Fi 6 technology, allowing for high-speed, wireless data transmission to your PC or mobile device for an untethered handheld experience. The scanner is also equipped with real-time temperature sensors that monitor the device's internal state to prevent accuracy drift caused by heat during long scanning sessions. While it is highly portable at just 447 g, it is a powerhouse that processes up to 1.5 million points per second, and the Standard Edition package comes complete with a carrying case, calibration board, and the Revo Metro software ecosystem.
