Barebone computer MINIS FORUM MS-03 Intel Core Ultra 9 386H - Description

The MINIS FORUM MS-03 is a compact barebone computer equipped with a 16-core, 16-thread Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor with Intel vPro, reaching clock speeds of up to 4.9 GHz. The system supports up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory, three M.2 NVMe drives, U.2 storage devices, and extensive connectivity options, including two USB4 ports, HDMI 2.1, 10GbE RJ-45, 2.5GbE RJ-45, and two 10G SFP+ connectors. This is a barebone version, so you’ll need to select and install the RAM and SSD yourself, allowing you to build a configuration tailored to your specific needs.

Intel Core Ultra 9 and Hardware AI Support
The Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor is ideal for code compilation, data analysis, multitasking, and other tasks requiring high performance over extended periods. The integrated Intel Graphics chip achieves up to 40 TOPS in INT8 computations, while the NPU offers up to 50 TOPS, enabling some AI-related operations to be performed locally. The computer is well-suited for tasks such as local language models, private knowledge bases, edge services, and development assistants, which reduces the need to transfer data to external cloud services.
Two SO-DIMM slots allow for up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory, supporting modules operating at speeds of 5600, 6400, or 7200 MT/s. Inside, there are three M.2 NVMe slots, including two using PCIe 5.0 x4 and one using PCIe 4.0 x1, so the operating system, applications, and large datasets can be stored on separate drives. The included M.2-to-U.2 adapter also allows for the use of an enterprise-class U.2 NVMe drive with a capacity of up to 15 TB, which is useful for large databases, model files, or intensive data processing.

High-Speed Networking and a Wide Selection of Ports
The MS-03 is equipped with a 10GbE RJ-45, 2.5GbE RJ-45, and two 10G SFP+ ports, so it can work with high-speed NAS servers, network switches, and infrastructure used for processing large amounts of data. It also features two USB4 Type-C ports, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack, allowing the computer to connect to multiple devices and accessories simultaneously. Wired connectivity is complemented by Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, making it easy to use the MS-03 both at a desk and in a more elaborate workstation.
The version with the Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor supports Intel vPro technology, which expands the computer’s capabilities in corporate IT environments. This solution can simplify remote administration, diagnostics, and maintenance of devices located in offices, branches, service centers, or other locations. As a result, the MS-03 is suitable not only as a workstation but also as a local computing node, a small server, or a device for edge computing applications where remote administrative access is essential.

Cooling Designed for Prolonged Load
Heat dissipation is handled by a system featuring two heat pipes, a turbo fan, and PCM material, which helps maintain stable operation during prolonged CPU loads. In Balanced mode, the processor can operate with a PL1 limit of 70 W, while Quiet mode reduces it to 45 W, allowing you to tailor the computer’s performance to your current needs. The case measures just 196 × 189 × 48 mm and weighs approximately 1.4 kg, so despite its extensive capabilities, the MS-03 takes up very little space on a desk or in a technical workstation.
